Safeguarding is not just for schools, healthcare, or social care; it matters in the workplace too. Employees in supportive roles such as HR, managers, and Mental Health First Aiders are often the first to notice or be told when someone is at risk of harm, abuse, or neglect.
Without the right training, they may miss critical warning signs or be unsure how to act, leaving individuals vulnerable and organisations exposed.

Delivered as flexible, self-paced eLearning, the course enables learners to build their skills around busy schedules. By the end, participants will feel confident in their ability to safeguard others, uphold professional standards, and protect their own boundaries in the process.
This training should take around 45 minutes to complete.
Please note: The certificate does not have an expiry date, however it is recommended that learners refresh their skills every 3 years as an industry standard.

Curriculum

If your goal is to become a safeguarding trainer or DSL, you’ll need additional qualifications that provide assessment frameworks, supervision, and practical experience.
